Jicama Salad

If you are looking for a crispy and refreshing dish I would recommend you try the jicama salad. It’s extremely versatile and delicious, that mixes flavors and textures, sure to satisfy. It’s the perfect summer creation!

BY YOVANA MENDOZA

Ingredients:

1 jicama peeled and sliced
5 radishes sliced very thin
½ avocado diced
½ cup chopped cilantro
¼ cup red onion diced
½ cup lemon juice
⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Pinch of cayenne
Pinch of crushed red pepper
Pinch of salt

Method:

1. Slice the jicama, radishes, avocado, cilantro and onion.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
3. Pour the lemon juice, olive oil and apple cider vinegar and mix all together.
4. Add the cayenne, crushed red pepper and salt. Mix again.
5. Serve, eat & enjoy!
