Three-Day Vegan Challenge

I’m excited to have a double blog post for you today! Read on to learn about my upcoming three-day raw vegan challenge and how to participate. I’ll also give you a week’s worth of delicious rainbow smoothies to drink in the days leading up to the challenge.

First off, let’s talk about the three-day challenge! This is a fabulous time of the year to cleanse your body and give it a break from the rich foods we tend to eat around the holidays. Join me in this challenge to cleanse your palate and get in the habit of eating delicious, plant-based foods! You can participate in this challenge no matter what your current diet is; it doesn’t matter if you’re an omnivore, already a raw vegan, or somewhere in between.

The three-day challenge will start on November 27, 2017, and I’ll post the first video the day before so you can prepare. Each day of the challenge, I’ll post another video showing you how to make the food for the day.

Want to participate?! Here are the three simple steps to get ready!

  1. Subscribe to my YouTube channel.
  2. Subscribe to my newsletter here on this page to get a PDF file with your shopping list for the three-day challenge.
  3. Buy all the ingredients on the shopping list! Post pictures of your ingredients with the hashtag #rawvanachallenge to become part of the community and get other people inspired. 

Seven Delicious Rainbow Smoothies for a Week!

Now, here’s a rainbow of 7 delicious smoothies for you to drink in the week before the challenge. For each of these, you’ll cut the ingredients into blender-friendly pieces, then just blend them up. It’s that simple! Feel free to adjust the amount of liquid to get the consistency you prefer.

Shopping List (for all seven smoothies):

1 small bag of frozen mango
1 small bag of frozen strawberries
1 large pineapple
coconut yogurt
1 liter of coconut water
1 liter of almond milk
celery
Fresh cilantro
6 bananas
spinach
4 carrots
1 papaya
3 oranges
1 avocado
1 green apple
dates
blueberries
oats
turmeric powder
vanilla powder
small piece of ginger

Yellow Tropical Smoothie
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup pineapple
1/2 cup coconut yogurt
1 cup coconut water

Light Green Tummy-Cleansing Smoothie
4 cups pineapple
2 celery stalks
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 cup coconut water

Red Antioxidant Berry Smoothie
2 bananas
2 cups frozen strawberries
pinch of vanilla bean powder
1 cup almond milk

Deep Green Radiant Smoothie
2 bananas
2 cups spinach or kale
2 cups almond milk
small piece of ginger

Orange Smoothie for Glowing Skin
4 carrots
2 cups papaya
1 cup orange juice
pinch of turmeric powder

Green Protein Smoothie
1/2 avocado
1 cup spinach
1 green apple
1 date
1.5 cups coconut water

Purple Antioxidant Smoothie
2 bananas
1 cup blueberries
1/4 cup oats
1 cup almond milk
